To paraphrase a dear colleague -- It's a special elation to write a scene that begins with the heading - EXT. SPACE And yet I'm endlessly intrigued by all aspects of the human experience on or off-planet.



Biography
Brandon Schultz, a graduate of Morehouse College, worked in entertainment in many departments, before co-founding ImajiMation, an animation and design studio. Brandon wrote and produced Blood Thirsty, a short for David Goyer's Blade Trinity, produced animated shorts, co-writing and developing the NY times award-winning graphic novel and webseries (commissioned by Pepsico) and ad agency Chiat-Day. Brandon developed the original content and produced everything from toys to 3D animation and transitioned to writing for episodic TV with Star Trek Discovery, co-writing Perpetual Infinity (ep 211,) Sanctuary (308) and Stormy Weather (406) and Whistlespeak for season 5. Brandon wrote an episode for the Emmy nominated Star Trek Short-Trek series The Girl Who Made the Stars streaming on Paramount Plus.
Beyond this work, Brandon enjoys the opportunities he’s had to mentor for the masters LMU screenwriting program, mentor for Film2Future high-school program, and has been a speaker at USC School Of Cinema-TV, Georgia State University, and Brown University as well as Loyola Marymount University and Morehouse College.
